Caroline called out, glancing around to see what LuLu was up to. It was difficult getting LuLu to follow doctor's orders, as she wasn't used to inactivity and being holed up in the house. It had been less than three weeks since she had returned home from the hospital, where the most intensive part of her recovery had been spent. Caroline gave a sigh of relief, as she found her daughter relaxing in her bath after an arduous day of rehabilitation. She had spent the day working with a physical therapist trying to regain some of her strength. "Honey? I've got someone coming in shortly who'll be staying with you tonight, and then I'll be back tomorrow by 7pm, okay? I'm taking the red-eye in from California, so you won't even miss me," Caroline fastened her pearl earrings in the bathroom mirror, and checked her immaculate appearance in the mirror. She was dressed to the nines as usual. "Mom, " LuLu groaned, exasperated sinking down into the bubbles further. "I can take care of myself! You did not have to hire a nurse." "LuLu, this is no time to argue,” Caroline said in a tone that brooked no argument, “I am not leaving you here without any supervision, and that’s final. Besides, you know what the doctor's orders are. You could pass out, or lose your balance, or worse. Why, are you being so stubborn, I just --" "Okay, okay, okay…already," LuLu sighed interrupting, laying back in the tub and closing her eyes. "Where is that woman anyway? I called earlier this afternoon -- she was supposed to have arrived by now," just then the phone rang interrupting Caroline's rant, who ran to answer it. LuLu heard the vague hushed tones of her Mother's voice on the phone, expressing frustration. She listened and winced, as Caroline proceeded to chew out whoever was on the other end. "LuLu! You won't believe it! She had to cancel!" Caroline shouted up from the foyer, "and with such short notice! I am so mad I could strangle somebody." "It's okay Mom, you'll be gone for less than 24 hours - just GO!" LuLu yelled back. "No, no, no. I have a better idea," Caroline said, mostly to herself. "What?" LuLu called out. "Never you mind dear, just relax,” she said, “I’ll have to make another phone call - like I always say, Have a - "Plan B," LuLu and her Mom said in unison. "Good luck contacting another agency this late in the day," LuLu mumbled, happy her Mom’s best-laid plans had gone awry, as she didn’t need a baby-sitter anyway. Caroline chuckled and smiled secretly as she went deeper into the living room to make this particular phone call. ************************ "Okay, honey - I'm just about packed, you have my cell phone, I'll call you when I get in and give you my room number," Caroline said. She bent down and hurriedly kissed LuLu's cheek, as she sat at her vanity wrapped in a towel, and brushing short and slightly damp, curling locks. Caroline wasted no time, she wanted to be on her way out, as LuLu's "nurse," was coming in. Just then the doorbell rang, "Oh! I'll get that - you take care baby, I'll call you tonight!" Caroline sang out. "Bye Mom," LuLu expressed with no small amount of relief. It would be a welcome change to be out from under the hovering and sometimes smothering presence of Caroline. Not being used to such overwhelming attention from her Mother, LuLu relished it at first, but it had quickly begun to grate. "Nicholas! Hi!" Caroline bussed Nick on the cheek, then quickly rubbed a fuschia smudge off his cheek like he was 10 years old. "Thanks so much, for doing this - you're a doll!" Then, more quietly, "Now don't let her ride roughshod over you, be firm. She can be the patient from hell I swear to God," Caroline grimaced. "Okay," Nick laughed, as Caroline darted around him, grabbed her rollaway luggage, and yelled up the stairwell, "Louisa! Nick's here honey, he'll be keeping an eye out while I'm away! Talk to you later tonight!" "WHAT?!" LuLu yelled back shocked, "MOM! I can't believe you!" Caroline heard LuLu wailing in outrage as she shut the door. LuLu stood in the center of her bedroom, fuming, her arms crossed over her chest. She wasn't even dressed, and she was totally mortified. Feeling like a two-year old, she inched towards the doorway, "Nick?" "Don't try to come down LuLu, if you need something I'll bring it up." He called back. "No, no I don't need anything…I just - I'm sorry my Mom browbeat you into this…" she trailed off, embarrassed. "She didn't," Nick moved, trying to get a glimpse of her. "She did too, you just weren't aware of it -- I didn't know what she was up to, or else..." she began walking towards his voice. "LuLu, I was happy to do it," something about his overly generous and conciliatory tone irked her. Ever since the accident, LuLu had had to contend with angelic sweet-as-pie Nick Fallin. Though she had basked in his concern, and tender glances – she had begun to chafe under the bit. She was neither a porcelain doll, nor was she ten years old. She had begun to wonder when she would ever see desire and that sexy intent in his eyes again. She came out of her room frowning, a mutinous expression on her face. When she saw him at the bottom of the steps, she grasped the balcony railing. Nick had to restrain a small gasp, LuLu's normal slender frame, looked ethereally slight, in the thick white terry cloth hooded robe that swallowed her up. The features of her fresh-scrubbed face were sent into sharp relief, yet if it was possible she seemed even more beautiful to him. Her lustrous hair was still slightly damp, and was starting to curl about her face and neck in soft tendrils. "Well, I…I could have managed on my own for one day, this is ridiculous," she said, drinking him in as well. She rarely saw Nick out of his uniform, so seeing him in relaxed casual attire was a bit of a shock to her system. He was wearing timberlands, light khaki cargo pants, and a fitted black long sleeved jersey, a white t-shirt peeked out at the neck. His dark blonde hair was a bit mussed, as if he had been called at a moment's notice, and hadn't had a chance to tame his unruly curls. Then she remembered that he most likely had been, by her Mother. "LuLu, you could faint or black out still, the neurosurgeon warned you," Nick cautioned. "I'm fine," she said stubbornly. "Good. I'm here to make sure you stay that way," he slowly grinned at her. LuLu, flustered, exclaimed, "But you…probably had plans --" "Nothing important," Nick interrupted, "Were you getting ready for bed?" He asked quietly. "No, I was just going to lay down for a bit and rest," LuLu said softly, hunching her shoulders, and shoving her hands in the deep pockets of her robe. She looked so vulnerable that his heart ached just watching her. He felt a deep need to climb the stairs and just enfold her in his arms. "Well, uh, okay…I don't want to interfere with your normal routine, I'll be right here in the living room catching up on some work, if you need me for anything," Nick said, waiting for her to concur. LuLu dropped her head. Now that he was here she wanted to be with him -- talk to him, ask him how he was. But it was hard putting that need into words. "Okay, LuLu?" Nick asked. "Alright," she said quietly. Nick slung his briefcase over his shoulder, and backed up slowly, still looking at her, then started to turn into the living room. "Nick?" LuLu said. "Yeah," Nick said quickly, turning back to her. "Thank you…for coming over…for being here," she said sincerely. "It's where I want to be LuLu," he smiled, "now go rest." "Okay," she said rather dejectedly, uncertain and still skeptical about his professed desire to spend part of his weekend looking after her. Nick watched her walk into her room. _______________________ LuLu padded downstairs quietly, making her way into the kitchen and being careful not to disturb Nick in the living room. She had awakened with hunger pains, and decided to raid the fridge. So engrossed was she with her midnight munchie madness, she didn't hear Nick come up behind her. "LuLu." He said, the lateness of the hour giving his voice a lower scratchier timber. "Nick!" LuLu, shot out of her skin, gasping and holding her hand to her chest, "You scared the hell out of me!" "Yeah, well sorry, but I had no idea who might have been sneaking around in the kitchen either, so we're even," he said dryly, "I thought I told you to call me if you needed anything." "It was late, I didn't want to disturb you," LuLu looked at his mussed curls, seeing she had done just that, "were you sleeping?" "No, not really," Nick lied. "Yeah, right," she laughed, catching her breath yet again, as she glanced up into the slightly puffy bedroom eyes that watched her blurrily, "Hungry?" "It's 12:30 LuLu," he whispered. "So? I'm starving…and I hate eating alone," she turned back to the freezer, and pulled out the ice cream. Nick noticed her white tank and bare legs under the partially-open loose robe and swallowed. He shoved his hands in his pockets, to keep from reaching out and touching her, the soft plush fabric was a mere impediment. He imagined himself untying the loose knot, and running his fingers along her silky exposed skin... "Come on," she said, grabbing two spoons and walking into the living room, "let's eat." Nick inhaled deeply, and followed. ******************** Popping the lid, LuLu curled up on one side of the couch where Nick had been sleeping. It was still warm -- she smiled to herself, curling her legs underneath her. He sat down beside her, touching shoulders. "Did you get much work done?" LuLu asked, digging into the Cherry Garcia, and handing Nick a spoon. "Uh, no…not really," Nick eyed the ice cream, and LuLu, curiously. "Go ahead, it's great!" LuLu said happily scarfing down a spoonful. Nick dug in, still eyeing the flavor suspiciously. He tasted a bit, and swallowed more. LuLu chuckled as she saw his eyes widen, and watched him lick the spoon with relish. "Good?" she said, downing a mouthful and smiling. "Oh yeah," he whispered, plowing through the pint with his spoon. He looked up for a quick moment and smiled back, it was all too tempting watching her...as he was imagining the incredible contrast between the cool velvet-like texture of the ice cream and the warm softness of her impatiently waiting mouth. "So, you really didn't have plans tonight?" LuLu didn't look up, just studied her spoon, and continued eating. "Uh, no…like I said, nothing important," Nick shook his head. "Hmm…but there was something?" she glanced up suspiciously. "Something." Nick muttered watching her. LuLu rolled her eyes heavenward, and started to seethe all over again at Caroline's presumptuous behavior calling Nick over for nursemaid duty. "God! My Mother…" she grumbled, then suspiciously narrowed her beautiful sloe eyes at him, "Did she even have the decency to ask you if you had somewhere else to be?" Miffed, she impaled her spoon into the ice cream setting it down on the table. "Hey, hey! Gimme that," Nick chuckled, reaching over her and grabbing the pint. He laughed again as he glanced at her pouty expression, "LuLu calm down. Yes, she asked, and I told her what I told you alright? I just thought…you know, I hadn't seen much of you this week…and so…" LuLu looked up at him, her brown eyes instantly softened as a small smile snuck across her face, "You see me all the time, it's a wonder you get anything done." "It doesn't bother you does it? My being here?" Nick inquired, looking vaguely worried, waiting for her response. "Nick…" LuLu took a deep breath, feeling her skin flush, "It's…difficult enough being so…weak and useless…a-and feeling that way with you around? I don't know…it's...hard…" her voice trailed off. Looking down, she started to toy with a button on her robe. Nick took in all she didn't say with immense satisfaction, while shaking his head, "It really shouldn't be LuLu, that's what friends are for you know?" "Wow," she looked at him in disbelief, "what have you done with Nicholas Fallin?" she asked giggling. "Shut up LuLu," he griped good-naturedly, blushing and looking sideways, all the while smoothing the hair on his nape as was his habit. Laughing even harder, "That's better! There's the Nick I know!" She softly kissed his cheek, "I'm just kidding," smiling into his somewhat dazed eyes she moved to get up, balancing herself carefully by putting a hand on his shoulder. "Whoa, wait! Hold on there, what do you need?" Nick asked anxiously, setting the ice cream down and gently clasping her tiny waist to steady her as she stood. She gave a half laugh, sighing dramatically, "Uh…to go to the bathroom, is that okay?" "Um, yeah…okay," Nick gave a soft embarrassed chuckle. "Gee thanks," LuLu grinned, "You can let go now, I won't fall over." "Ah..sure, sorry…" Nick studied her, "Geez LuLu, you've lost a lot of weight," noticing how small she was even with the plush robe wrapped around her. In the deep V of the neckline, her delicate collarbones showed in stark relief under pale golden skin. "I know…" LuLu's face fell slightly, sometimes she was able to forget whatever kind of hell she must look like, as she wasn't exactly looking in a mirror on a regular basis. She didn't want to. "Hey, stop that, " he said. "What?" she sighed, her head down-bent, suddenly self-conscious around him. Nick wanted to kick himself for making the observation, and dashing her good spirits, "You look beautiful as always." LuLu shook her head sadly, "Your Mom just says you need to eat more," he said. "Right now I have to pee, and as it takes me an hour to shuffle up to the loo…-- Nick?!" LuLu gasped, shocked at suddenly being gently swept off her feet by him. "Yes?" he asked looking down at her devilishly. "I can walk you know," LuLu was breathless at his nearness. "Well, I decided to do the expedient thing, since I don't want to be mopping up after you," he said wryly, climbing the stairs. "Very funny," LuLu had an excellent vantage point studying his dark golden waving hair, and sandy blonde brows. She lifted her hand, and gently traced the lines that radiated out from his hooded green/blue eyes. "Wait up here a second okay?" She asked, then continued, "I'll get you some towels for tomorrow and a pillow - you didn't have one." Nick continued looking at her, and swallowed, "Okay." He stopped at the doorway to the marble bathroom, and let her slowly slide down the front of his body. LuLu's feet touched the floor, and still gazing up at him, she softly said, "Thank you." "Anytime," he smiled, caressing the silky skin behind her ear. "Really? You'll do this for me at LSP too?" She giggled, twinkling up at him and shut the door. Nick grinned, and thought it had been a long time since he had felt this good. ******************************************** "So stay up here and talk to me," LuLu said climbing under the covers. Nick had to chuckle as she was lost in the king-sized bed amidst the pillows and down comforter. He had just about groaned aloud when he saw her innocently shuck her robe. She was wearing a shortie pajama set, white cotton tank and really brief bottoms that hugged her curves. She hadn't lost weight in some places, he thought, he wanted more than anything to climb in right behind her. "Okay, what do you want to talk about?" Nick exhaled strongly, sitting in the soft leather recliner positioned by her bed, his long legs stretched out in front of him, his strong bare feet crossed at the ankles. "Well…tell me why you left New York - left Swann & Cranston to come back to Pittsburgh?" She lay gazing intently at him, with her chin in her hand. "My Dad asked me to," Nick said. "Well, that sounds unequivocal. Do you always do what your Dad asks?" She raised her winged brows at him, knowing the answer already. "Not hardly," Nick chuckled, "he wanted to work with me." "…and you wanted to work with him," LuLu stated knowingly. Nick hesitated a bit, then nodded. "Do you ever regret coming back?" "No, not once, why?" Nick said, intensely gazing her way. LuLu shrugged, "Oh, no reason. It must please your Dad that that you're home." Nick thought of the hell he had put his father through since he'd come home, "Uh, yeah…I guess." "Why do you say that?" She watched him struggle a bit with his answer. "My Dad and I -- haven't…really talked about it," Nick said shaking his head. "Well, he looks proud as a peacock most of the time," LuLu softly smiled at him. "Sometimes he hasn't been," Nick said looking down, unable to be anything but real with LuLu. "Yeah, I know…" Both of them were thinking the same thoughts. LuLu had to go there. "Nick?" He pulled his eyes up, and met her tender gaze. "How did your problems with drugs start?" LuLu swallowed, hoping he'd talk to her. She wanted to know. She was looking at him so openly and with such sincerity that he felt safe enough to go wherever she wanted. He wanted LuLu to know him, even the dark parts. "It was recreational at first, it seemed to make life a little easier to deal with. Later, it uh - got to be habitual, and for no other reason than I liked the way it made me feel." Nick worried that he had said too much. Wondered if she would turn away from him if she actually thought long and hard enough about the baggage he carried. "Do you still want to…" LuLu hesitated, biting gently on her lower lip. "Want to use?" Nick took a deep breath, "Yeah…yeah sometimes I do LuLu. But I don't." "What stops you now that didn't stop you before?" LuLu whispered. "Disappointing people that I care about mostly, and uh…ruining my life, runs a close second," he said with a self-deprecating smile. Nick watched with something approaching panic as LuLu's eyes began to moisten, he didn't mean to upset her, and he certainly didn't want her pity, "LuLu don't." "No. No, I need to tell you something. I was hateful towards you when we first met at LSP," she said sadly, Nick shook his head. "I was," she insisted, "and I just want you to know… that I had no right to judge you. For as long as I live, I'll regret what I said - it…it shames me. Do you forgive me?" "Look where I am LuLu -- what do you think?" He grinned, desperate to see her face light up again. Thankfully she laughed, and Nick breathed a sigh of relief. "Besides," he added, "You're one of the people I don't want to disappoint - I want to live up to your lofty expectations of me." Nick made it sound like a quip, but in actuality he was serious. "Nooo, really?" LuLu blushed, looking at him wide-eyed --not knowing what to say, but feeling her heart swell. "Really," he nodded looking intently at her. "Okay," he then said decisively and with great anticipation, "Your turn." As if on cue, LuLu yawned, stretched and changed the subject, "Oh my, all of a sudden I just can't keep my eyes open." "You little chicken," Nick chuckled, watching her snuggle down into the covers, "Okay, okay…you owe me one though." "I owe you more than that," she said mischievously. "How's that?" Nick's ears pricked up. LuLu gathered her courage, "Why don't you sleep in here? It's a big bed…" "Not big enough," he said still in disbelief at what she was offering. "Gee, thanks," she said. "That's not what I mean and you know it. It will be hard for me to -" She giggled, "Nicholas Fallin, haven't you ever just slept with a woman - without-uh…you know?" "No. What's the point of that?" He said cavalierly. "Ah! You cad!" She yelped, pretending outrage. "No, no, no…I mean there hasn't been a reason before now to do anything else but "you know," he said laughing at the modesty of Saint Louisa's new verb. He wondered if he'd shock her if he used the one he usually did, which described perfectly all of his previous encounters. "Before now?" LuLu inquired innocently. Nick shoved his hands in his pockets, rocked back on his heels and didn't say anything. He had let too much slip already. She went a step further, "So being with me might be a reason?" she twinkled. Upon hearing her questions, Nick realized he had played himself. Just like the good lawyer she is, LuLu had kept him talking until she had the goods. Nick's hooded eyes gleamed, he suddenly yanked his jersey over his head, his hands then going to his belt. He heard her gasp, and squeal his name as he started to shuck his pants, exposing navy blue boxers, and strong thighs. "N-Nick?! What are you doing?!" She had pulled the covers to her chin, watching now as he shucked his T-shirt. "What does it look like? It's almost 2am, I'm dead tired from talking so much," he again gave a mock glare, "and you and this very comfy looking bed are way too tempting to refuse." "But, but…" LuLu wasn't prepared to have him this close, she could feel her thighs start to tremble already. "Just sleep right? I can accommodate you there - course I can accommodate you for other things too as you can see…" he said sexily, hoping to alarm her a bit. Another gasp was heard, Nick was having way too much fun. LuLu muttered, "No, uh...just sleep I think." "You think?" He said devilishly. "No, I know." LuLu gulped. That refrain had become an inside joke between the two of them. He lifted the covers and climbed in, as he did so, he caught a flash of shapely slim legs and small curvy ass scurrying to one side of the bed. "Good. Come here LuLu," the low timber of his hoarse voice sending a shiver down her spine. "What?" She said nervously. "You're on the other side of the bed," he said drily. "Um…" LuLu had lost her tongue. "That won't do if you're going to be the first woman I've ever slept with, huh?" He spoke sardonically. LuLu scooted over, gazing into his adoring face, "I'm honored," she smiled, then kissed his shoulder and snuggled into him. He laughed, and whispered goodnight, as he gently hauled her closer, inhaling the sweet jasmine on her skin, and kissing the top of her head as she lay half on his chest. He was overwhelmed at the rush of emotion that came upon him, he had almost lost her a little over 3 weeks ago, yet now she was warm, happy and silky smooth in his arms. This was the sweetest kind of torture Nick had to conclude. As his lids grew heavy, he couldn't recall ever feeling so content, he had all he needed right now. Nick was glad she was his first. He drifted off with a smile on his face. *********************** Nick felt a soft tickle on his chest, and moaned deep in his throat, he wasn't quite ready to relinquish dreaming of LuLu. The object of Nick Fallin's subconscious affections had awakened before him. Stretching within the sweet confines of his relaxed embrace, she lay half on his broad firm chest, her petite frame steadily rising up and down with his deep breathing. LuLu softly turned, and with her heart in her eyes, ran her gaze over his incredibly long lashes and full mouth, her stomach flip-flopped. Nick Fallin made her feel things that she had never felt before. Things that they were overwhelming and scary - and yet she wanted to meet them head on. The accident had shown her just how much of her life she had refused to really live. She had been scared, afraid of failing like Caroline and so had played it safe - knowing that if she did fail, there would be no pain involved and no heavy investment lost. Nick's words came back to her, all at once. He had told her she was screwing up her life with Brian, implied she was only marrying an idea, a figment of what she thought a normal home life represented. Nick had told her the truth about herself, having only known her a few months. It was easy for LuLu to summarily ignore his insight, refusing to hear the wisdom in his words, especially since they happened to be cloaked in Nick's anger and jealousy. Consequently, LuLu proceeded to complicate and "screw up," her life. Yet Nick had never once in the time since, told her "I told you so." She knew he never would. As she studied Nick's handsome countenance and felt her throat tighten with emotion, there was again the somewhat frightening reathis man could wound her. She'd feel everything with him she knew, joy and pain, sweetness and sorrow. He would possibly even devastate her, and considering all of that, LuLu was prepared to be with him. Nick Fallin, she had decided, would be worth the heartache. She moistened her lips, and sleepily placed a kiss on his chest. The soft whisper kisses drew closer and closer. Nick felt silken curls brush the underside of his chin, as the gentle touches swept over his chest and then collar bones, his belly quivered. His own dreams weren't as sweet as reality he found, and so with raging desires still unabated he rushed headlong into consciousness. Nick was awake now, and he dared not say anything for fear LuLu's sweet exploration and outpouring of affection would stop. Nestled deep in the blankets with the woman he felt so much for, her warm thigh laying softly on his midriff, her sweet breath caressing his neck, he tightened his hold around her waist, and wondered if heaven felt this nice. Nick slid his hand into the low riding tiny briefs, and caressed the beginning swell of her bottom. "Nick," she whispered, a bit startled at his suddenly proactive behavior. She relaxed and moved into him, kissing the shell of his ear, and nuzzling the sleek waves at the nape of his neck, "Good morning," LuLu said. "Mmmm, I'll say" Nick said hoarsely. He turned his head and saw the twinkling brown of LuLu's eyes, and smiled overcome at her nearness. He ruffled her shiny brown hair, and brought his hand up to sweep gentle fingers over her full rose-colored lips. God she was beautiful, Nick thought, knowing this could get out of hand in no time. LuLu saw the tendermess and concern in his eyes, and basked in his regard, though she wanted to see something else right now. The fact that she was playing with fire did not escape her. Gazing sweetly and somewhat coyly into his hooded eyes, she moved her shapely leg over his lower belly, and then lower still, loving the feel of his hardness against her inner thigh. Nick groaned at the contact, lifting his lower body into the caress. "LuLu," Nick gasped, "I don't think we should…" even as he half-heartedly tried to dissuade her, his body was making serious demands. She giggled mischievously, which enflamed his senses even more. Suddenly rolling over so she was beneath him, Nick quickly and carefully manouvered between her slim legs and nestled into the apex of her thighs. She laughed excitedly, then shivered at the contact, "I think I awakened a sleeping giant." Nick kissed her hair, "Flattery will get you nowhere." "Mmmm, liar…I'm sure it will get me quite a few places," LuLu said breathlessly, kissing his chin and laughing. "If you need someone to watch over your house, or somewhere to stay..." ********************************** Nick pushed against the small bikini briefs with his hips, and simultaneously inched her scant tank above her breasts, he gazed down at her perfect loveliness. "LuLu," he exhaled, his eyes moist and his cheeks flushed. She was full and swollen with desire already he saw. He pressed his heart to her, and felt the coral tips nestle into his chest. He hunched his shoulders and rubbed his chest across hers, hearing LuLu sob his name at the contact. Nick, grasped a handful of silky hair and swept his open mouth over hers, sipping on her tongue, and kissing the delicate point of her chin. He raised up and looked down at her again. "Ohhh God, are you sure? I don't want to hurt you LuLu." Nick had made up his mind, what little he had left. He would please her. His needs would not take precedence, and furthermore he suspected through her pleasure he would achieve a satisfaction that was soul deep. God, he felt it already. LuLu gasped, moaned and writhed at the intense bolt of desire coursing through her. Pleading with her eyes, she moved her hand into the waistband of his navy boxers, and began to ease them over his hips. Nick gently clasped a soft palm, kissed it, and placed it on his chest. The barrier of their scant clothing seemed non-existent in the face of their shared heat, but it would nonetheless serve to help Nick's better intentions. Nick reared up at her touch, and voraciously captured a nipple and began to suckle sweetly, all the while gently pressing into her, and buffetting her slowly and gently. "Nick! Nick please," she urgently whispered, clasping his head to her breasts, and involuntarily spreading her thighs, crossing them around Nick's slim muscular torso. LuLu panting frantically now, was going crazy in his arms. "It's okay baby, hold on to me," he bent back to her and grazed the other nipple with his teeth, then quickly laving it softly with his tongue. She whimpered, and caught her breath. "Ahh God," Nick said loudly and urgently, as he watched her face. Her trembling lips opened, her back arched deeply, and he moved to surround her more fully, "I've got you," Nick hoarsely croaked, "Just let go! Let go baby!" Nick moaned then himself, as powerful electric sensations snaked down his spine. "Nick, I-I …" LuLu inhaled sharply, as the pleasure took hold, she gazed wide-eyed and expectantly at him, and Nick dazedly wondered how he could experience this much pleasure just witnessing someone else's. Suddenly, LuLu pressed her palms flat against his chest, then shakily slid up to slide around his neck, and she arched even further into him, the incredible clenching now happening inside her made her grind convulsively into Nick over and over again. Nick couldn't contain himself, and with a hoarse shout of her name, he shook and climaxed powerfully in her arms, while holding her writhing form pressed to his body. His arm tight against her lower back. The aftershocks making them both clutch desperately to one another. *********************** Still holding her snug minutes later, Nick tasted a tear as it rolled down her sweet face. LuLu smiled sheepishly at him, "Sorry about…er…catching you off guard like that. I know you didn't plan on, well…"you know"" Nick laughed, and hugged her closer, "Well, technically we didn't…well…you know," he exhaled contently in the aftermath, "Which means I can still look your mother in the face, and not feel horrible about taking advantage of her daughter's vulnerable and fragile state when she entrusted me to -" "Oh would you shut-up! This was my idea you know, so don't go taking all the credit," LuLu said peevishly. "Yeah, I guess it was your idea. I could tell her I was minding my own business sleeping, when you attacked me," he chuckled. "Your presence in my bed will be harder to explain," she said slyly. "Er, you had a nightmare and pleaded with me to stay with you?" Nick suggested. "Nope, I don't have nightmares, she won't go for it," she said, shaking her head. "Well, how about just that last part then, where you pleaded with me to stay with you?" still holding her, he felt her small fist in his gut, and a gave a mock 'oomph.' "Why you -- I didn't 'plead,'" she said pretending outrage, and trying to restrain her dimples, "I asked politely…and I'm so glad I did too," LuLu said sincerely, kissing his cheek, and running her fingers through his curls. "Oh…me too," Nick's smile slowly vanished, and a look of clear intent swept his features, he swallowed hard and bent down to her lips. ********************** Neither one of them heard the opening of the front door, the click of high heels in the foyer, or the jangle of keys… It wasn't until, Caroline's voice sang out at the top of the stairs, "Yoo-hoo LuLu," that the two lovers broke apart, and Nick Fallin frantically tried moving off his very amorous patient. LuLu's slender legs wrapped around him, and wouldn't let him move. A knock sounded at the bedroom door and Nick jumped, LuLu tried not to laugh hysterically. "Honey, are you up? I caught an earlier flight in. Where's Nick?" Caroline inquired through the door. "Uh, yeah Mom I'm up, Nick's up too, he's been up a loooong time!" LuLu started to laugh, and Nick looking frazzled and exasperated slapped his hand over her mouth, LuLu shook with laughter. "Really dear…where is he?" Caroline said suspiciously, hearing oddly muffled sounds from inside the room. LuLu peeled Nick's hand off her mouth, and tried to calm down, "He's taking a shower downstairs." "Mmm-hmmm, okay…well uh, I'm going to go change myself, I'll see you in a bit. You feeling okay dear?" Caroline asked, concerned. "I feel really good Mom, better than I have in quite some time," LuLu said, seriously gazing into Nick's eyes letting him know he was the reason why. She softly caressed his mouth with hers. "Good, honey. I'll see you later." Caroline clicked off down the hallway. "I almost had heart attack you know!" Nick said still a bit shaken, nipping her ear in revenge, LuLu squealed. "You better get dressed…uh-oh, those boxers have uh…seen better days!" LuLu eyed him hungrily still. "No kidding, and it's all your fault," Nick nuzzled her. "So sue me," LuLu replied kissing him back, she sighed, "I don't want to move from here." "Me either, but we'd better before your Mom comes back," Nick sat up, shucked his poor shorts and wrapped a throw around himself. "Wow," LuLu said staring. "Shut up LuLu," Nick said suddenly bashful, "Come on get a move on before we hear, "Yoo-hoo LuLu," again." This set LuLu off into peals of laughter, while Nick quickly exited, clothes in hand taking the steps two at a time. Caroline, having not been born yesterday, listened from down the hallway, and gave a self-satisfied smirk, which turned into a broad grin. ****************** THE END...until next time that is! Hope you enjoyed it! Rosiiii :-)
